2025  JIANG XI
Large-scale Events Department: The ambassador for the promotion of tennis activities

"Our job is to introduce the peripheral products of Jiangsu Tennis Association and the exclusive souvenirs of the national team to the audience, and to spread tennis culture and traditional culture," said Wang Ziyan, a volunteer from the Large-scale Events Department.
This job allowed them to directly experience the enthusiasm of tennis fans. "For the first time, I felt the immense passion of tennis fans, and I truly experienced the charm of this tournament." When asked about interesting moments, Wang Ziyan shared a heartwarming episode: "One day, a little boy bought our tennis ball and collected many player signatures. In the evening, he specially brought that tennis ball, which was full of signatures, to 'promote' it to us. At that moment, we felt the sense of achievement brought by our work."

Player Services Department: A heartwarming bridge for cross-border exchanges

Volunteers in the player service department are among the closest to international stars. "We mainly provide translation services for players, and are responsible for distributing daily meal vouchers, changing towels, and answering questions."
Compared to previous years, many volunteers have experienced unique challenges and gains in different positions. Xiong Jiaxin, who comes from the Player Services Department, shared, "This year, I switched to a different department, and I feel that the work in each department is quite different. The work in the Player Services Department is relatively tedious, but being able to communicate directly with foreign players has greatly improved my abilities and allowed me to grow significantly."
Although the work is tiring, it is filled with warmth and joy. When talking about unforgettable moments, they shared, "Yesterday, when we were about to get off work, we met a group of foreign media friends with guitars. Everyone in the department gathered around them, playing guitars, laughing, and dancing together. At that moment, all the fatigue was healed, and our team atmosphere was really good."

Spectator Service Department: The Gentle Guardian of Stadium Order

The Spectator Service Department is a crucial part of ensuring a great spectating experience. Ding Hanyu from the Spectator Service Department shared, "My main job is to maintain spectator order and ensure the smooth progress of the competition."
Despite the hard work, they enjoyed it. "Although it was quite tough, I enjoyed it. I found it very meaningful to be able to make the competition go smoothly." The lively atmosphere of the opening ceremony is still fresh in their memory: "Last night at the opening ceremony, there was an audience interaction session, and the atmosphere was particularly good. That lively atmosphere also deeply influenced me."

News and Publicity Department: The agile recorder at the event venue

"Reporting match results in a timely manner, writing official news, and operating new media platforms." Hu Changhui, a volunteer from the Publicity Department, who is responsible for telling the stories of the event, shared, "This experience has taught me a wealth of tennis knowledge, received professional guidance from media teachers, and comprehensively improved my news skills." What motivated them most was being able to closely experience the mental journey of the players: "Witnessing the athletes' fighting spirit is the most precious gain in our work."
