The 2025 Jiangxi Tennis Open is in full swing at the Jiujiang International Tennis Center. Inside and outside the stadium, a group of young volunteers dressed in uniform are particularly eye-catching - they are injecting vibrant youth energy into this international event with professional service and full enthusiasm.


         As an important collaborating unit of the Jiangxi Tennis Open, Jiujiang University has dispatched over 100 student volunteers to participate in event services. This volunteer service team, which has undergone multiple rounds of training and assessment, boasts diverse professional backgrounds and provides comprehensive services covering 10 core areas such as player services, venue guidance, news and publicity, and logistical support, becoming an "all-around reserve force" for the smooth operation of the event.


    On November 1st, Liu Ping, member of the Party Committee and head of the Propaganda Department of Jiujiang University, along with Huang Guoqiang, secretary of the Youth Committee, visited and expressed their condolences to the volunteers serving in various positions. They inquired in detail about their work content and living conditions, and fully affirmed the professionalism and dedication demonstrated by the volunteers. Liu Ping encouraged the students to cherish this valuable practical opportunity, hone their skills through service, display the good demeanor of Jiujiang University students, and contribute their youthful energy to the successful holding of the event.


    Since the tournament kicked off on October 25th, volunteers have been arriving at their posts every morning with the rising sun and returning home late at night under the starry sky, adhering to their respective duties with standardized service and professional dedication. In the players' lounge, they meticulously check the participating equipment and assist with pre-match warm-ups; beside the venue passageways, they patiently guide spectators and answer questions; in the press center, they capture moments on the court in real time, quickly integrate and disseminate materials, and with a high sense of responsibility and efficient execution, become an indispensable "youth engine" in the efficient operation of Jiangsu Open.


   At the volunteer service station of the Publicity Department, volunteers not only had to withstand the high-intensity pressure of event coverage, capturing the athletes' moments of striving through words and pictures, but also had to coordinate various materials and facilitate the dissemination of event information across the internet. "This is not only a practical application of the knowledge we have learned, but also a valuable opportunity to showcase the responsibility of youth," said one volunteer. "We are very proud to be able to participate in serving such an international event."
