On March 4-5, the 2017 French Open Youth Wild Card Tournament will be held at the Red Earth Tennis Hall of Nanchang International Sports Center. This is the first newly built red earth tennis hall in our province and its debut will be the "Little French Open" international competition.

When it comes to the French Open, I believe those who love tennis first think of Nadal, the "king of clay". However, for us Chinese people, the French Open has a more special significance - China's first Grand Slam championship trophy.

On June 4, 2011, in the women's singles final of the French Open, Chinese famous player Li Na defeated defending champion Italian women's tennis star Schiavone 2-0 and won the first Grand Slam championship trophy in China and even Asia, pushing China's tennis industry to a new peak. In January 2014, Li Na's second championship in a Grand Slam tournament swept the country with a wave of tennis heat; In March of the same year, the French Open Youth Wild Card Tournament (Little French Open) made its debut in China. Jiangxi young player Zheng Wushuang defeated his opponent in the final, winning the Little French Open championship and becoming the first Chinese tennis player to win a French Open Youth Wild Card in China; In July of the same year, amidst the heat wave of tennis, the Jiangxi International Women's Tennis Open emerged, marking a new era of international sports events held in Jiangxi and even central China.

The Jiangxi International Women's Tennis Open is the first international professional tennis tournament introduced by Jiangxi Province, and is one of the WTA125K series under the International Women's Tennis Association (WTA). After two years of development, the 2016 Jiangxi International Women's Tennis Open was officially upgraded to a national international tour with only six stops, with a prize money of 250000 US dollars and championship points of 280 points. The event was also officially renamed as the Jiangxi Tennis Open.

This year, there is another good news for Jiangxi tennis, and the "Little French Open" has also settled in Nanchang, Jiangxi. On March 4-5, the 2017 French Open Youth Wild Card Tournament will be held at the Red Earth Tennis Hall of Nanchang International Sports Center, where tennis enthusiasts can come to the scene to enjoy the charm of red earth tennis. In addition, from July 24th to 30th this year, the 2017 Jiangxi Open Tennis Tournament will also be held at the Tennis Hall of Nanchang International Sports Center. Zheng Wushuang, a local player from Jiangxi and the first French Open youth wild card champion in China, will also participate in the competition. We look forward to everyone coming to watch and cheer for Zheng Wushuang, a local player from Jiangxi!
